Donna represents the true meaning of the word volunteer, after 35 years of unpaid work. Her energy and enthusiasm are boundless, what she gives to others is amazing. A truly remarkable lady. For 35 years Donna has trained disadvantaged children free of charge and without grant aid. These children don’t arrive as trained dancers but through hard work they reach a high enough standard to perform at real shows. The children that Donna takes under her wing reach that level through the hard work and dedication she puts in. Holder of the Westminster Ribbon of Honour (charity work) and the David Dimbleby award (25yrs voluntary youth work), she’s an ‘Angel’ for Fight for Life, dancing a 30 hour world record Maypole supporting the children’s cancer unit of Middlesex hospital. 21 years organising the entertainment for the Westminster MENCAP Christmas party, and, 35 years producing her annual community Christmas show. This is Donna, she always has more to give. If someone needs her help she will always be there. Even over the Christmas she made time to visit sick children spending Christmas in hospital, making their Christmas. This is Donna’s selflessness. She follows in her Mother, Rose’s footsteps, dancing the traditional English Maypole. Her passion and love for the maypole has been passed on to Donna who now champions her own multi-award winning Maypole where 10,000 people joined in from every English county, every UK country and 156 countries worldwide. Keeping the English tradition and heritage of Maypole Dancing alive. Donna Maria is
famous for her creation of Miss Christmas and the Christmas
